Upper Division
This Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is designed for students who have completed their first two years of education at an accredited institution.

Overview
Our rigorous curriculum provides a foundation of nursing courses focused on adult care, childbearing, pediatrics, mental health, and community health. You can expect an emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration, advanced technology, and access to a variety of clinical settings.

Admission requirements
Applicants with a prior bachelor’s degree are only required to complete core prerequisites. Applicants without a prior bachelor’s degree must complete all listed courses.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative undergraduate GPA
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on core prerequisites
- Minimum of 54 credit hours in the following prerequisites (Note: Anatomy and Physiology I & II and Microbiology must have been taken within the last seven years. Core prerequisites may not have been taken more than twice within the last five years.)
- Anatomy and Physiology I with lab**
- Anatomy and Physiology II with lab**
- Microbiology with lab**
- Nutrition*
- General Psychology*
- Human Growth and Development*
- Statistics*
- English Composition I*
- English Composition II
- Speech or Oral Communications
- One social science elective of three credit hours
- Three humanities electives of nine credit hours
- Three electives of any three credit-hour college level course
*Core prerequisite.
**Core science prerequisites completed through StraighterLine must be finished before Jan. 1, 2026 to be eligible.
